I was browsing my cousin's Facebook wall when suddenly, nostalgia struck me. I just couldn't help myself but cry. Though I have seen my parents, grandmother and siblings last December, I still wanna see them again. This March I'll gonna see them again when they come to Manila for my wedding.
Aside from my family, I also miss my hometown, Sanchez Mira which is located in the northern part of Cagayan Valley. Sometimes, I envy my friends on Facebook who have them pictures along the rivers, rice paddies, mountainside, hillside, beach or having a picnic in an orchard.
I am looking forward to the days that I go back to my hometown and find myself breathing some fresh air again. Going back to my hometown means going back to my childhood. Living in the city for 8 years made me realize how a beautiful place like ours has becoming more enchanting as years pass by. It also made me realize that there is no place like home.
