The Rise of "Flappy Bird"

I have seen some posts about Flabby Bird on Facebook since the other day. It just started by one facebook friend then suddenly, it seems that most of my friends play the game.

Gone are those days when Plants vs Zombies, Angry Birds, Bad Piggies, Temple Run, Subway Surf ruled as game authorities among children and adults alike. This year, Flappy Bird seem to emerge as the new addicting game for iOS and Android which everybody claims to be "the most annoying", "the most frustrating" game which gives you a sudden heart-attack.

Since it's the most annoying game not just this year, maybe even in your entire life, it is also one of the most annoying status content. Facebook users flood the Facebook news feed for sharing how frustrated they are with the game, how low their scores are, how they beat their friends. Flappy Bird memes are also being talked about which mostly connected to "condo" (Deniece Cornejo and Vhong Navarro) and "bulalo" guy.

Background of Flappy Bird game:
Developed by Dong Nguyen, a Hanoi, Vietnam-based developer on 2013, Flappy Bird is published by .GEARS Studios. This bird flying game was first released in May 2013 and topped the free category of the American and Chinese iTunes App Stores last month (January 2014). The UK App Store touted it as "the new Angry Birds" and at the same time, it is the most downloaded App on the App Store. It features Super Mario World-esque graphics and very basic mechanics.
Objective of Flappy Bird game:
You should fly the bird (by tapping the screen) without hitting pipes. If a bird hits an obstacle then the game is over. You'll receive a point if the bird flies through a set of pipes.
