Trying Natural Remedies For the Skin

Being allergic to cosmetic, I usually don't use them. The only stuff I put unto my face are: face powder (Careline / Myra-E) and lipstick (Cotton Candy by Careline). For the cleaning stuff, I use Kojie San soap, Pond's facial scrub and Pond's day cream. I don't know if they made a difference but I know that I have a lot of blackheads which I couldn't totally get rid (I do it myself). I have gone to spa before for the removal of blackheads maybe thrice but I couldn't stand the steam and the pricking - they trigger my allergic rhinitis.

Anyway, I have read that fruits, vegetables and crops could help in making our skin healthy (of course :D) by eating and/or drinking them so it is also believed that rubbing or scrubbing them unto our skin would make our skin younger, soft and smooth. So being a housewife who is the queen of the kitchen, the most natural thing I see and hold is rice so I began with it. This whole week, I wash my face with rice water every time I take a bath. I found a related article - Make Your Own Brightening Rice Water Toner so maybe you can try it also.

I also tried to rub some peels and flesh of apple and it feels good. Effective or not, using fruits and veggies for skin is a good way not to waste them. Instead of throwing them away after eating, using the peels for scrubbing/rubbing on the skin makes us get the benefits they can still offer.

This afternoon, I also tried the DIY Peel Off Mask: Blackhead Removal using egg white. I also want to try the Homemade Coffee Scrub for Cellulite but we stopped using coffee alone (we drink 3-in-1 coffee) so I have to buy ground coffee first. My thighs are getting fat so I need this. I am not dreaming of thigh gaps but I look smaller with my fat thighs lol.
