NBI LAGDO Experience

I feel so wasted. I and my sister went to NBI-Sta. Rosa, Laguna this morning at 10:30 am. I accompanied her to renew her clearance. We were disappointed to see a unorganized long queue of people, unorganized since you don't know where to fall in line. The people were not in their proper line. Some were falling in line, some were eating nearby and some were sitting wherever they want. 

The NBI Office or LAGDO (LAGUNA DISTRICT OFFICE) in Laguna is located at Sta. Rosa . Sorry but I am not familiar with the exact address. If you ride in a jeepney along Olivarez Plaza, the jeep should have to bound for Sta. Rosa Bayan. Jeepney signboards should be Sta. Rosa Bayan, some also have NBI signboards. The office is not hard to look for since it is near Sta. Rosa Police station, Health Office and Sta. Rosa Commercial Center and infront of Sta. Rosa Elementary School Central III. If you already passed the Sta. Rosa arc, you should get off at the nearby jeepney stop and take a few steps going to the opposite direction and cross the road on the pedestrian lane.

Since we have reached noontime break, we had to take snacks. I ate siomai and drunk gulaman. My sister didn't want to eat if it was not food from Jollibee. Since I was not comfortable in walking too far and looking for the fastfood, I had to ride in a tricycle and paid P30 for a round trip (the fastfood is juts a few meters away from the NBI office).

For the NBI clearance, you have to pay P115 whether travel or local and pay P5 for the envelope, I guess. We went home at 3:00 pm. Imagine, we had to wait for four hours securing an NBI clearance? Anyway, there is no renew anymore. Everyone undergoes the same procedure. At Sta. Rosa office, the following are the procedures: 

1. Fall in line.
2. Pay P115 for your clearance.
3. Fill up the form.
4. Submit the form at the “Data Check Counter” and have your data checked.
5. Wait for your turn to be called for the data entry.
6. Fall in line for the Fingerprinting.
7. Image Capture.
8. Releasing of the Clearance. (For those without namesake, clearance certificates are released within the day. For those with namesake, they are advised to go back after a week or more. The date is usually written/typed at the receipt).

What to bring?
1. Valid Identification Card (ID) for authentication of your name
2. Original copy of your previous NBI Clearance (for those who have already secured NBI clearance before)
