Last May 4, Wednesday, we attended the movie screening of Fast Five. If you know about The Fast and the Furious (2001), 2 Fast 2 Furious (2003), The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift (2006), Fast & Furious (2009), then there's no reason you don't know about Fast Five (2011).
As a child born in a family with a father and three older brothers who love action movies and cars, it has been a family thing to watch "heart-pounding" and "adrenaline-inducing" movies like the Fast and the Furious film series. So when I had the opportunity to be invited to the Fast Five screening (Teleserv Bloggers Edition), I did not hesitate to confirm my attendance though it was not the only reason why I wanted to attend. I also wanted to meet other bloggers and to know how a bloggers event look likes.
Fast Five never failed to amaze and amuse me. I love everything and every part of it. I love the cars, the cast, the soundtracks, the location. It has been two days since I watch the movie but I still can't get over with it. I've been tweeting all about Fast Five since the moment I was infront of my computer. I also started followingthe Fast Five cast like Jordana Brewster, Sung Kang, Paul Walker, Tyrese Gibson, Dwayne Johnson (The Rock), Tego Calderon, Don Omar, Elsa Pataky on Twitter. Too bad I can't find the official twitter of Vin Diesel , Gal Gadot and Matt Schulze but here's the official twitter of Fast Five - @FastFurious.
This is one of my favorite parts of the movie.
This leads to an epic scene where Brian and Dominic are flying off a bridge waiting to land in water. (The trailer didn't show it but you can see the stunning moment below.) It was a silent moment and that was the time when I remember the adrenaline rush I feel every time I ride in a rollercoaster.
The movie was fast-paced, explosive, awesome, well-crafted, amazing. It was a fun-filled movie leaving you enough lines that make you smile even in your sleep. One of the parts that surprised the people who have seen the 4 series like me is the returning of Sung Kang and Matt Schulze in the movie. Sung Kang died in Part 3 (The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift (2006) while it was unknown to what happened to Matt Schulze after Part 1. Everything was fantastic leading to an absolutely great movie twist. I am looking forward to the sixth series. I wonder what would happen to Letty and Dominic if she's really alive.Well, that is one thing we don't want to miss out. If you have not yet seen the movie, don't miss the chance. Grab the opportunity while it's still showing.
