My Favorite Professor

One colorful Thursday morning, I have taken a deep gaze at my most admired teacher. While he was talking, I couldn’t banish the impression I felt for him. He seems to have wisdom in everything he utters. Moreover, his English motivates everyone to expand his vocabulary well, of course, through reading or finding those difficult words in the dictionary.

Besides being fluent in English, he has a modulated voice which always makes him the emcee (master of ceremony) of many programs held not only in our school but also in town. He is versatile in English and whatever English subject you tell him to teach, he is always ready. Either Public Speaking, Vocabulary, Literature, Grammar & Composition, you can always rely on him.

Well, on his physique aspects, he has a round face which is sculpted on it a big and half-flat nose; black, round eyes; and big ears. These maybe cannot make him look handsome but he is the type of a man to be respected. When you look at him, you would discover that he has a fat belly which is proportionate with his chubbiness. He has a milky complexion which is covered with thin, tiny hairs which look so rough. His very short, black hair is polished with styling gel which is not far from tiny wires when you touch it. He may not be tall but he seems to be one because of his decent look radiated by his fine and elegant clothes and the way he gets along with people. Do you know how he walks? He is always in a hurry pace.

For three years, he had been with my high school batch teaching English subjects. As long as I can remember, I haven’t yet seen him in raging tempers and exploding voice. When he gets angry, he scolds us but you could see on him the concern and motivation. Though students are sometimes playful and childish, they listen to him intently and digest every bit of his words. It is on him that I had able to show a part of my ability. Because of him, my interest in essay has been awaken from a deep rest. He is the kind of person who brings out the best in anyone.

Anyway, we fondly call him “Sir Udong.”
